Scroobius Pip Solo Album!

Some of you might not know who Scroobius Pip is, his real name is David Meads and he's a spoken word artist/poet/rapper. Pip and dan le sac released several albums as an alternative hip-hop duo, most famously this-

Pip is an extremely talented lyricist with a harsh, biting tone and a relentless flow. He may very well be the most talented poet of our generation, and I really expect his popularity to explode in the coming years. (Not to mention Pip and I are in the same club- the awesome beards club.) He really speaks with a clear voice, you can't mistake what he means, even when it's not what he says, and his harsh criticism of modern pop culture is beautiful and terrifying at once- like so.

So, being as big of a Pip fan as I am I practically crapped my drawers when this video was shown to me last night. This is my favorite rap song in years, and it's the teaser/intro to Pip's upcoming solo album. Dear God, I cannot wait.
