Sin Theorem

Sin Theorem is a local metal band from Lansing, MI. When I saw them they were playing the Ernie Ball stage at Van's Warped Tour. My experience with Sin Theorem was pretty interesting.  The singer approached me as I was walking around browsing various booths. He gave me a patch and told me their set time. I told him I'd come and check it out. And I did.  The set went about as well as any small metal act at a big music festival can go- a few people showed up, and we were REALLY into it. I was leaning against the fence the whole time, headbanging, my hair flying everywhere, and my eardrums vibrating ferociously.

The four-man outfit cranked out quite a fun set, and then came their masterpiece. They played a song that many of you might be familiar with... let's see.

Yeah. You probably know the song. When they said they were playing that song the crowd went apeshit. I mean of course we all knew the words and so we all screamed along, and it was obvious that their vocalist did this on purpose to get us all pumped up for their last song, Postal. As they told us Postal is about just walking into work one day and going crazy. The experience of seeing Sin Theorem was a lot of fun, and I definitely recommend that any metal heads in the crowd check them out if they're in the Lansing area.

Be sure to check out a couple of tracks on their website, http://www.reverbnation.com/sintheorem
