Black Metal Christmas!

So, while digging around on the internet doing nothing like always I came across a real gem of a black metal band. Now, as you all know I have a real love/hate relationship with black metal. I love the music and I find the aesthetic that comes with it awesome, but the actual ideas a lot of black metal fans and artists have are ridiculous to anyone with a working brain. Black metal elitism will be the death of me.

Anyway, gem of a black metal band... Erlösung.
As you can no doubt tell from their website... we may not be dealing with geniuses here. But, they did record Carol of the Bells in black metal format. (No idea why my formatting got all weird here. Double spacing things.)


So, here we go! Black metal Carol of the Bells!

The title of the album is German, but I think these gentlemen are from Georgia.

There may or may not be an update tomorrow, I have to go out of town for a funeral.

    Holy hotdamn that was awesome. Not some stunning piece of work maybe, but it was damn fun.

    Also, that error is because of the html editing. Probably from copying and pasting from a source that used that spacing, which sometimes isn't visible. For blogging, especially on ones with dark backgrounds like ours it's usually best to paste into notepad or something then re-copy/paste.
