I've Been Fist-Fighting Gravity Since The Day I Learned How to Breathe

So, I've been having a horrible fight with depression for the past few weeks. You guys don't know but I've struggled with depression my whole life, and I think it's coming to a head at this point. It's getting ridiculous. But, I'll always have music by my side. Especially these songs, some of which I've probably linked before.

And so now you know what the author listens to when he can barely stop crying. Have a good one, guys.

  2. I've had depression too man. Came about 3 inches away from ending it a couple times. A song that helped me a lot was pink floyd - comfortably numb, the live version from the album pulse.

  3. I was always so ignorant to music. But they amplify emotions.

  4. Whatever gets you through mate. Never suffered depression myself so I don't know how difficult it could be.

  5. Depression can hit anyone, you have to keep looking up and going forward though, life is not as long as everyone would like it to be, every second you're sitting, you could be doing something to improve yourself. Unless, you're reading an informative book while reading, then I can't say anything against that! But remember to get moving and doing something! This usually helps with depression, if you exercise, you'll cure depression eventually, want it or not.

  8. I'm in a bad mood constantly though.
Not in a "I can't stand this, I wanna die" way, but more like "This sucks. I wouldn't mind dying.. it might be more fun than this".. heh

  9. I really hope you get better. I know this sounds stupid, but perhaps listening to happier music would help a bit gettin out of this. Seek help from your gf. Go out, spend time outside, try to clear your head. Music can do wonders or can make you feel even worse.
I wish you all the best.

  10. Hate the battle, hate the feeling, hate giving in and hate giving up. But when the days are good they are so worth while. That keeps me going. So on I battle. Meds I swallow. And most of the time I win.

    Keep up the good fight!
